Its been a while so I thought I should post an update!
OH my I am so bad at blogging. Well first of all Kael is doing good; however, he will not use his hand. He is such a little stinker and I am hoping that in time he will start using it. Also, he all of the sudden refuses to take a bath. Ever since his surgery. He used to take a bath every day and sometimes two. Any suggestions send them our way we have tried everything.
Austin started basketball today this is his 3rd season and he is loving it. This year he is with the bigger boys so he was pretty stoked about that.
Carson started indoor soccer on Wednesday and said it was sooo much fun.
Parker...well he is just enjoying his winter with no sports. But he has been enjoying playing with playdoh with Kael. Which leads to Kael...how do you play with playdoh with only one hand??? Trust me he can do alot of things with only one hand :-)
And Emerson last but not least. She is growing like a weed. She had her Dr. appt on Thursday and she is 12 lbs 12 oz and 25 inches long. She is lean the Dr. said but very tall for her age. He said all looks good. Kevin said I'm going to have to take on some kids to watch, because she is out growing all her clothes and I am actually going to have to go out and buy some. YIKES! I have no clue on how to shop for a girl. Well I may just E-bay shop or take the 20 minute ride to Gurnee to see what I can find. This could be totally cool or a total disaster. Maybe I should call in a personal shopper :-)
Not much else to share. Everyone had a great Christmas and we had a great New Year and went to a party and some friends house with all the kids!
I will try to post some pictures after we recover from our recent move...oh by the way we moved! :-)

Kael's Surgery
On Wednesday December 3rd Kael had surgery to separate his two middle fingers. He was born with a complete syndactyl on one hand. He is doing well and has a cast from the tips of his fingers to his shoulder. Learning to adjust with one hand has been a little frusterating for him because he is so independent. I took some pictures of his hand before surgery and I will try to download them. I will also try to take some of him in his cast.
Thats the only news I have on the homefront right now. I am too exhausted for words.

Moving again
Well, I know 3 blogs in one day, but I really don't think pictures only count. Although I do loving looking at other people's pictures.
Anywhooo. We are moving again. As most of you know we sold our house back in 2007 only to move into a rental that was too small, after 2 months in the winter we found another rental, and guess what it was on the market and sold 2 months after we moved in. Well we weren't getting enought time to look into buying another house and I found a house at the beginning of December to rent and we moved again...We rented this house with option to buy. Well, God had other plans. Kevin lost his job in April of 2008 and we thought all hope was lost. We had no income. The kids I was watching I would no longer have as of the End of June, but God gave us one more week in July thankfully. So now, we have no income but thankfully we had a savings.
God is good. Kevin got a job at the beginning of August, it was only enough to put food on the table nothing else. No rent, utitilties, just a few minor bills, so we continued to use our savings. Long behold we continued to pray to God for the answer and in his time he provided Kevin with a wonderful job. Still not making what he was used to, but enough that we could survive. At this time we decided there was no way we could purchase this house and we contacted our landlord to let him know we would not be able to sign the option to purchase agreement because of a change in our financial situation. He was very gracious that we notified him and gave him plenty of advance notice; however, he did not want to continue to rent to us because he wants to sell the property.
Again, God Provides. We contacted our realtor and explained we needed a house to buy or rent with option that would be affordable for us. We also told him we could not get a loan because Kevin had just got a new job. Long behold he found us a house and the owners had the house paid off and were willing to finance us at a 6% rate. Its a 5 bedroom house not nearly as big as what we are living in, but it was our answer. So we are again moving with the intention of staying put for a long time.
God is Good. He does not always give to us when we ask for it, but he does give in his own time.
